Description

Guanciale Nostrano is an artisanal cured meat obtained from a mixture of Sicilian Madonie farmed pork. The meats are naturally flavored according to the ancient Sicilian pork butchery tradition. The pork cheek called "Bucculàru" in Sicilian dialect corresponds anatomically to the cheek or jaw of the pig. It has a pear shape, with rind on the surface. It has a tasty but not salty taste and a very fragrant aftertaste, it has an intense and spicy smell. Try it as an appetizer paired with a slice of toasted Sicilian ancient grain bread together with typical cheeses and a good glass of red wine.
